Harvest

Mormor has arrived and Pudding hasn't. That's all you really need to know.

After a bit of stress getting here, everything is ready and calm and we're just waiting, keeping busy with family trips and messing about in the garden while the glorious autumn weather hangs about.

From our garden.
We went to Villa Elfvik again this weekend. Last time we went it was under feet of snow, so it was wonderful to have a lovely day to go explore the outside a bit. Being heavily pregnant means we didn't do a lot of walking, but the kids got to burn some energy.

And we all had a play about.

At home we started gathering in our apples and had a tasting session. Four different varieties with different uses. Not sure how much time I'll have to make things with Pudding coming soon, but started a batch of Slow Cooker Apple Butter tonight as recommended by my brother. I can't remember ever having apple butter before, but we'll see how my first batch goes.

Hope you're enjoying the beginning of autumn and the sun is shining down on your days. Be well.
